Group training at Storhogna
The hotel offers instructor-led sessions with various forms of exercise, including barbell training, yoga, mindfulness and water aerobics. As our hotel guest you have free access to our own training sessions. Whether you want to work out hard and sweat profusely or find peace and balance, there is something for everyone.
Price for non-resident guests
Adults 150 SEK per training session
Children 80 SEK per training session (min age 8 years)
The outdoor gym at Storhogna
Outside the hotel is our outdoor gym, built in wood with materials from the local area. It is designed so that exercisers can adjust the resistance of the equipment themselves. The gym is accessible to everyone and is free to use.
Wellness centre
At the hotel there is our wellness room with equipment such as exercise bike, treadmill, barbell cage, barbell machine, etc. The wellness room is open 7am-7pm every day except during our instructor-led sessions.

Barbell & Strength
Optimum method
Your postural muscles are the ones that keep you upright. When it works, your body is in good balance and you can use your supported muscle areas for any activity you want. When it's not working, your body compensates and you get sore, tired and at greater risk of injury. In this session you will learn what the postural chain is. How to activate and strengthen it. We will also release some tensions before to find the right one. The exercises are calm and comfortable and you will gain knowledge to continue with in your everyday life.
Sensing Yoga
In Sensing Yoga we work with the body and breath through natural, soft, undemanding and always on your body's terms. Love from the inside out for your well-being.
Mobility & Strength
A session where we focus on mobility & strength with exercises inspired by SomaMove, among others. We use the body as weight and with the help of wonderful music we get a varied flow through the session.
Mental Relaxation
In this session, you can energise and unwind during a guided relaxation. You'll rest deeply in a state between sleep and wakefulness, allowing your body to recharge and re-energise. Come just as you are, dressed up or straight from the mountain.
Tabata
Tabata is a form of high-intensity interval training where you can achieve very big training results in a short time. The training form is cleverly organised as you mix high-intensity exercises with short rest for a predetermined time. Pulse-raising and fun!
During the summer weeks when the weather is fine, the session is run outdoors if the weather permits.
Water aerobics
Water aerobics is a form of exercise that is suitable for all ages because it is a gentle form of exercise that does not wear out the body. The water provides a resistance that you can regulate yourself. A really fun and tough workout!
Mountain stretch
During the session, we will perform stretching exercises - both static and dynamic. Whether you are stiff as a fridge or a full-fledged athlete, your body will benefit from this session!
Box
A tough and pulse-raising workout with gloves and mits where we focus a lot on technique of various kinds. You work in pairs and take turns to hit and face. Train your worries away with us!
Core/everyday strong
We perform strengthening trunk stability exercises, for the whole body. The exercises lay the foundation for good posture in everyday life, at work and in the gym.
Circuit training
To motivating music and with inspiration from cardio and strength exercises, we train the whole body in a fun and energising way. We build up stations and work in intervals.
Mountain balance
Fjällbalans is a yoga-inspired session where we feel the body and land in moments. Through calm movements and flows, we train the body's mobility and strength.
Yoga
Yoga is based on body movements combined with breathing and concentration to reduce stress, stretch and limber the body. Yoga comes from the philosophical system of Hinduism, which aims to unite body and mind in harmony.
Mountain Steps
A fast-paced functional step workout for the whole body. In a playful way we challenge our fitness, strength & coordination. You adapt the training intensity and exercises to your needs, you can use body weight or increase the intensity by using weight plates in specific exercises.
HathaYoga
Hatha yoga is a gentle and calm form of yoga that aims to achieve balance between body and mind. It is very much about gaining control of the body and is suitable for everyone, perhaps especially for beginners and those who want to try yoga. Research shows that hatha yoga helps relieve stress, support healthy habits, improve emotional health, relieve back and arthritis pain, and even help people quit smoking.
Family fitness Small & Large (6-12 years)
Joy through movement for the whole family. Discover an energising and playful fitness experience in the form of circuit training. Designed to involve both children and adults in pairs, this fast-paced workout challenges our bodies to become faster, stronger and even happier. The community and co-operation between children and adults creates a fun and motivating atmosphere.
Plupp's Movement Story (3-6 years)
Yoga-inspired movement story. By combining imaginative elements and calm movements, we get the opportunity to accompany Plupp and his friends on an enchanting mountain trip. We end the whole experience with a peaceful massage story, where you as a carer or relative are warmly welcome to participate. Your presence and loving touch will be the safe hand that guides your child into the world of relaxation.
Mountain flow
Using nature and the body as a tool, this yoga-inspired class aims to find balance between body and mind and increase your strength and flexibility. We work with flowing movements synchronised to your own breath. The combination of movement and the healing powers of nature contributes to the release of the body's feel-good hormones and settles like a balm around the soul. We end the session with a short mindfulness meditation.

Kettlebell
This is an energetic workout that is perfect for those who want to activate the whole body and combine strength training with breathing. We use kettlebells and explosive movements to improve our strength, endurance, stability & posture.
Body scan & relaxation meditation
Land in yourself with a guided body scan that helps you let go of the day's impressions and find deep recovery. Through gentle movements and conscious breathing, we weave together the tranquillity of the mountain landscape with the natural flow of the body. We read into the body, release tension and let the muscles relax for a good night's sleep. The session is suitable for anyone who wants to unwind, whether you've spent the day on the slopes, in the mountains or just want to give your body a rest.
YinYoga
Let breathing and concentration be used to reduce stress and limber up. Yin yoga is a restorative and therapeutic style of yoga that involves surrendering and letting go to still the body and mind. It is a counterbalance to yang-based, more physically demanding forms of yoga. By balancing yin, rest, and yang, activity, in life in general, our well-being increases on all levels.
Visualisation & Breathing
Start the day with a quiet but energising session using light movement, breathing and the mind to awaken the body and mind. Through a mountain-inspired visualisation, we let the mind travel through the stillness and power of nature, to get new energy for today's adventure. We create presence, balance for today's experiences. The session is suitable for anyone who wants to start the day with motivation and a clear mind.
Legs & bum
This leg and butt workout is designed to make you stronger, more stable and more enduring throughout your lower body. Through powerful and functional exercises, both large and small muscles are activated, providing an effective and rewarding workout. The workout is suitable for all levels and gives you energy, strength and a great feeling of having challenged yourself.
