From the hotel you can play golf close to nature at two different golf clubs - Klövsjö Vemdalens GK and Hede-Vemdalen GK. Take the opportunity to combine golf, mountain experiences, spa life and good meals in the Winter Garden.
KLÖVSJÖ VEMDALENS GK
Ten minutes' drive from the hotel is Klövsjö Vemdalen GK - an 18-hole course that is as beautiful as it is challenging.
Klövsjö Vemdalen's golf course stretches over an old mountain pasture, where several remnants of the old mountain farming culture have been preserved. Here you are met by a hilly forest course that is full of surprises and challenges with narrow fairways and height differences. Some of the course's greens are actually constructed on three different levels.
The 12th hole has often been hailed by visiting golf writers as one of the country's best. The mountainous surroundings make the course equally unique. From the tee on hole 4 and the walk to the ball, magnificent views of the mountains and the village of Klövsjö are on offer. Another interesting hole is the fifth, where a family of swans usually summer at a water hazard.
The 18-hole course is perfectly complemented by the Fäbodbanan, a very interesting 9-hole short course with crossing streams and cleverly placed greens. Here you can also play Footgolf, a perfect family activity where you use a football instead of a golf ball. Don't forget to admire the fine artwork along the golf course, where you can meet Rudolf, Bördi and other mascots.
HEDE- VEMDALENS GK
Play golf next to Ljusnan with an enchanting view of Sonfjället National Park. Hede Vemdalens GK is only 25 minutes away by car from the hotel.
There is a 9-hole course and an 18-hole course and the course is recognised for its high quality with large greens and wide fairways. It is easy to walk and suitable for both low-handicappers and beginners with its 3 tees of different lengths: 41, 48 and 58. Dogs are also welcome but must be leashed.
