DAILY CLEANING
Day cleaning takes place every other day during your stay with us. Hang out the sign; Requests cleaning if you want cleaning more often. Cleaning takes place between 09:00-14:00. Hang out the sign; Do not disturb if you do not wish to be cleaned.

The entrance doors are locked at approximately 21:00, use the tag on the hotel key to enter after 21:00.
Excursions & activities in a fantastic mountain environment
Mountain hiking, maps of hiking trails are for sale at the reception. There are also walking sticks to borrow, MTB bikes for hire and picnic bags to order for your mountain trip. Other wonderful summer activities during the bare ground season to choose from are golf, Klövsjö GK 10 km away with 18-hole & short-hole course, fishing, canoeing, kayaking and horse riding.
Tips!
Plupp's ladderThis is a simple children's walk with Pluppy activities and adventures all along the trail. Here you can walk a tightrope, jump on stumps and stones, taste the mountain water from a babbling brook and of course the highlight of the hike - visiting Plupp's hut to try out Plupp's chair and check out the fireplace. At the start of the Plupp trail there is also a playground with a slide, climbing frame and swing.
The hotel loop, nice walk up the bare mountain from the hotel, follow orange markings, a total of about 2.5 km.
Samevistet, our popular waffle hut 3.5 km out on the mountain. A nice excursion destination, winter and summer. Open for dining only in winter, contact reception for current opening hours.
Fallmorafallen, head towards Samevistet and continue downhill for about 800 metres.
Outdoor gym, below the hotel you will find our outdoor gym. Free to use.
Boule court, outside Kopparsalen is our nice boules court. Balls are available to borrow at the reception.
Children's Storhogna
Plupp's hut
Plupp lives in the hut in our Winter Garden. Sometimes he is visited by his friends Hermelin and Lämmel. All children are always welcome in the hut and it is well visited. Next to Plupp's hut, our stream runs through the Winter Garden and there are live trout swimming there!
Games & cinema rooms
The hotel also has a table tennis table, football & hockey games and a cinema room. Borrow a racket from reception or ask us to start a children's film.
Plupp's ladder
On the mountainside outside the hotel winds Plupp's trail, an easy 1km discovery walk for kids with adventures along the path. Walk the tightrope, jump on tree stumps, follow the babbling brook and crawl into Plupp's mountain hut.
Dog friendly Storhogna
What fun that you brought your four-legged friend! Here at Storhogna, our four-legged friends get their own corner on the floor & our wish is that the pets do not stay in beds, sofas & armchairs.
If you wish to bring your dog to eat in our restaurant, we will set a table for you in the Karl XI room, please inform us in the restaurant before your booked time.
When you wish to have your room cleaned during your stay, you will find a sign in your room that you can hang on the door while you are out with your dog. If the sign is not hung on the door, we will not enter and disturb the dog. Cleaning takes place between 09.00-14.00.
